Estate wills
my mother passed away.
I recentley received a check in her name. I was her POA. Can I
cash this check?

The POA ended upon your mother's death, so you can't cash the check issued in her name.
If your mother had a Will, it should be probated and the executor will be appointed. The executor should open an estate bank account and deposit the check in that account.

Where is her will? If she didn't have one, you can still start the probate process and open an account for that check...
