Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Jersey
Back Injury Compensation
Hi, would like to know if there is a monetary compensation for a documented and diagnosed with MRI, Herniated Disk Injury with permenant nerve damage. (Between L4 and L5) in the spine? Or is this injury just compensated with physical therapy and medical treatment?

Re: Back Injury Compensation
You have a very serious injury and no matter how much physical therapy or other treatment you get, you will probably never get one hundred per cent better. Since this was posed to me as a workers compensation question, then I assume the back injury happened while you were at work. This being so, you have a very good case and are entitled to a number of different benefits through the workers compensation system. You need to remember also that there is a time limit for filing a workers compensation claim, so you may need to act fast. I am an attorney who has handled very many cases similar to yours in various courts in New Jersey in the past. I would like very much to speak with you regarding your claim and how I can help you handle it to your benefit. There is never any charge for simply discussing a case with me, so please call me at 1-908-272-0111. You can also visit my website at www.njworkerscompensationlaw.com. Thank you.

Re: Back Injury Compensation
YES, the answer to your question is that you are entitled to an award of workers compensation benefits for the permanent injuries you sustained in addition to the Medical Bills/treatment. A Claim Petition must be filed on your behalf with the New Jersey Division of Labor. My office can take care of this for you and provide legal representation to protect your rights.
Injured at work? You do have rights! The insurance companies will not tell you what you are entitled to. They have lawyers - why shouldnt you?
In New Jersey, any employee, (even if you are a construction worker, secretary or injured in a car accident while working), injured at work, regardless of fault, may be entitled to three benefits:
1. Free medical care;
2. Pay while unable to work; and
3. A cash settlement for loss of function caused by the work-related injury.
NO FEE UNLESS THERE IS A RECOVERY
