If you were injured while working in New Jersey, even if the company was headquartered out of Arkansas, you can file a claim for workers compensation benefits in New Jersey. Under New Jersey workers compensation law, the extent of any permanent disability award is based upon the percentage of disability findings by various doctors you will be sent to. For injuries to three fingers, of course your final award will be higher than for a lesser number. Regarding any negligence claim, there is always a possibility to file such a claim if the specific circumstances warrant it. For example, if your fingers were injured by a machine because the machine was defective, then you can sue the machine manufacturer. If your company removed safety devices from a machine that hurt you, then you MAY be able to sue them for negligence in addition to bringing a workers compensation claim. I am an attorney who has handled hundreds of workers compensation claims in New Jersey in the past. I would like very much to discuss your claim with you to see what I can do to help you. There is never any legal fee payment in workers compensation in New Jersey unless your attorney wins your case for you, so it won't cost you anything to discuss your case. Please call me at 1-908-272-0111 to discuss your case. Thank you. Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq. -

There are too many variables to be able to give you a number. I would have to ask more questions of your work relationship to this company to be able to even tell you if you can collect much, if anything.

Is the company in NJ? Where were you hurt? Whose worksite were you on? Who was paying your salary?
