Re: don't know what to do

If you got injured on the job then you should not have been laid off, you should have been put out of work on workers compensation temporary disability. Also, if you were too injured to work and workers compensaiton wasn't paying you workers compensation temporary disability, then you should have been collecting State of NJ Disability instad of unemployment. It sounds like your company treated you wrong after you got hurt. There are important benefits you are entitled to under the New Jersey workers compensation law that were apparently not offered to you. You have two years from the date you got injured to file a claim in workers compensation, so if this happened less than two years ago you are still in time. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various workers compensation courts in New Jersey in the past. I would like to discuss your case with you in more detail.
