Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Jersey

Need personal injury/ workers comp. atty NJ

I'm looking for an attorney in NJ for a rather complicated workers' comp. claim for my husband. Not sure if he would qualify for a personal injury settlement. He was a scientist for a private company and suffered an exposure to a chemical that has left his lungs permanently impaired. (He now has asthma-like symptoms and cannot work in the science industry any longer.) It's an unusual, very dangerous chemical, but I have information on it that I can forward to you. The injury occurred 2 years ago in May (he kept a diary at the time and so knows the exact date) and he has had to switch careers to become a high school teacher. We have moved to TN, but the company was in NJ. We need an attorney who is available to speak by phone possibly in the evenings or to correspond via email. Thank you.

I do a lot of workers compensation cases in New Jersey and would be willing to take on your husband's case based on what you wrote. As long as he worked in New Jersey at the time of the exposure a claim can be filed in New Jersey. However, there is a two year deadline for filing a claim, so you only have a couple more months before it will be too late. I am willing to work mostly by e-mail, regular mail, and telephone.
