Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Jersey

Workman's comp

My workers compensation payments have ended. It has taken my employer four weeks to find a new position for me. During the four weeks waiting I did not receive a paycheck. Am I entitled to this money and if so who has to pay it, workers compensation or my employer?

Re: Workman's comp

Under the law your employer did not have to take you back at all. Unless you have a Union contract or some other employment contract specifically stating that they have to give you your job back, they don't have to. Consequently they do not have to pay you, nor does workers compensation have to pay you, for those four weeks. I am an attorney who has handled many workers compensation cases in various workers compensation courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
