Legal Question in Family Law in New Mexico

I live in New Mexico. My wife is leaving me for another man. There is a 2.5 year old child in the picture. I know full custody is hard to achieve but I'm wondering if I would have any chance. When my wife left me, she started partying more, sleeping with other men, drug use, etc. I fear for my daughter's childhood in these type of conditions. I've also had to call the police twice on my wife for suicidal behavior and she was taken to the hospital both times. Would I have any legal chance of winning full custody of my daughter?
