Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Mexico
my boyfriend was caught with cocaine and pleaded guilty can i still petition for him he is a convicted felon but not deported
1 Answer from Attorneys
It's very likely that he will be deported after he serves his criminal sentence.
What do you mean "caught with cocaine" - was it trafficking in cocaine?
As a convicted felon with a drug related conviction (cocaine), he will not be eligible for a green card or a visa or even a waiver.
