Legal Question in Veterans Law in New Mexico

Agent Orange

I was recently diagnosed with Prostate cancer. I am a Viet Nam vet in country. I tried to fill out the online form with the VA but it is very frustrating. What other ways can I get help for my claim.

Re: Agent Orange

Go to your nearest VA Hospital and ask to have a Agent Orange screening. This should be quite simple and they should do it immediately. Prostate cancer as well as other diseases are primary indicators of Agent Orange poisoning.

Good luck!

Re: Agent Orange

Just print out the claim form, fill it out as completely as possible, keep a copy, and send it certified mail to your nearest VA regional benefits office which, according to your zip code is Phoenix, but Albuquerque may be better for you. You can do a facility locator search at va.gov Send it in as soon as possible and try to gather copies of your medical records in the meantime if they are from non-VA providers. good luck.
