Discrimination

A guest with a service dog asked me if I liked dogs. I replied, I hate dogs because I got bit by a dog before. I don't trust them. She said all dogs aren't the same. I know that, but I am TERRIFIED of any dog now. The guest said, ''I hope that you never have to have a dog save your life. She agreed with her. She called corporate, and I was terminated because they said I made discriminatory remarks against someone with a disability. I want to know if I discriminated against her. She came in, sat down and ate her food, and paid. Was I in the wrong?

Can't be liable for discrimination for voicing your opinion. That is constitutionally protected speech.
