Legal Question in Disability Law in New York

I have been charged with harassment in the 2nd and must go to court in 3 weeks. My question is: I was helping a friend with a family issue and went over to his wife's house to see if we could talk, I drove up the lights were on, she peeked out the window, I knock on door and she would not answer, I stated that I knew she was their, she still did not answer, so I went around and knock on window of where the light was on and she still didn't answer, so I left. What are the possible outcomes/fines? I have NEVER been in trouble in my life! Also-should I retain a lawyer?

There veer well may simply be a larger issue between your friend and the woman, and yo may have inadvertently just gotten in the middle of it.

I would 100% advise you to get an attorney as soon as humanly possible as in situations where you have such clear defenses and there are such underlying issues it is extremely important to have proper representation.
