Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New York

freezing bank accts

i have been working with a lawyer to work out a payment plan with my creditor, as it turned out a judgement was obtained, and now my acct is frozen, i thought my lawyer was helping me, now he won't even answer my calls, and my creditor won't talk to me because i have a lawyer. i have had this lawyer for ten years, and i am devastated, he could at told me there was nothing he could do, so now i will get a new lawyer. i had been paying monthly to my creditor, to show good faith, i am alone, i have ms and this is affecting my health as i do not have money for food until i get paid. help

The best route to go is to hire another attorney, have him attempt to collect funds from the previous attorney, and see if the judgment can be lifted.
