Legal Question in Business Law in New York

a business sales representative for my internet chemical business was not performing well, so we parted. He was borrowing a brand new computer and now he will not return it as agreed to when he received it. In addition, he started a competitor company using all my products and business/internet knowledge that he received from me. he is now selling chemicals on the internet under a different name.

what can I do to go after him to stop this and retrieve my computer?

It all takes money, sometimes a lot. You have the right to get a court order to prevent him from using information he took from you while he was your agent. You also may have a claim to recover damages for lost profits. You certainly have the right to recover your computer. You should contact a competent attorney to give you advice. But, I repeat, it costs money.
