Legal Question in Business Law in New York
client list info
per my previous employer I allegedly obtained my client's telephone numbers from the hair salon appointment book, and proceeded to solicit salon clientele without knowledge or permission of proprietor. I never signed a non- compete agreement or a non- solicitation agreement. can the owner sue me for allegedly obtaining client info from her business files without her consent?

Yes. The telephone numbers belonged to her and not to you.
