Legal Question in Business Law in New York

two churches in fellowship. the larger church is searching their EIN number with new church. However, new church is not presenting statement to show use or misuse of EIN# and this has been going on for 2 years. Now the bigger church no longer wants to be in fellowhip with smaller church. How do we obtain legal document to stop smaller church from using EIN#?

1. Ask them to stop using it and let them know that your church intends to pursue this matter if they don't stop on their own.

2. If they don't stop using the EIN voluntarily, hire a lawyer to handle the rest of this matter.
