Legal Question in Business Law in New York
I have an employee who refuses to sign a performance review that was given to him by his manager, because he feels it was an unfair review. My question is do we have legal rights to make the employee sign. And also can they get fired if they dont?

You cannot compel an employee to sign a performance review. Simply have the supervisor note that the employee declined to sign, and have it witnessed.

I agree with Mark. You cannot compel and employee to sign a performance review. To answer the second part of your question, if the employee is an "at will" employee, you may terminate his or her employment.
