Legal Question in Business Law in New York
Resale price maintenance
I want to start selling my software product through resellers and I want the resellers to use my price schedule:
1. Do I have to analyze every state's law to see if resale price maintenance is legal?
2. If I use sales agents rather than resellers (i.e., ship directly from my facility, and pay the sales agent a commission) can I then require the sales agent to use my price schedule?
