Any intellectual property which you develop in connection with your responsibilities as an employee belongs to your employer. You can ask for it, but the employer has the right to refuse.
Your question is entirely dependent on your relationship with the company and any employment agreements that might be in place. To the extent the models are covered by copyright law, if you are deemed an employee, it is very likely the case that the current employer owns those copyrights under copyright law. Also, to the extent you have an employment agreement with the current employer, that agreement may have an assignment of inventions and other intellectual properties clause. Before jumping to another employer you may want to consult with an attorney to examine the specific facts of your situation to determine what your status is.
