civil rights: the right to refuse service

Can i politely insist that someone leave my cafe if I decide they have been abusive and slanderous of my family?

If you operate a public business like a coffee shop and someone is abusive yes, you can ask them to leave, and the reason is their conduct. Don;'t say anything else though, becasue you can get in trouble if they believe they were denied service on discriminatory grounds.
