Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York

I would like to know if I could file a sute against a company, that had sent my husband and a single together on a work trip for this company. This trip led to my husband of 30 years to have an affair with this girl. An affair that caused my husband to leave our marriage and go reside with this girl. An affair for over 30 years that I knew nothing about. Untill on aug 4th of 3002 when my husband came home and anounced that our marriage was over. I called ones in power at this company, begging them to remove this girl from my husbands side, that if they would it could possiably save my marriage, but they said no they could not. My husband now resides with this girl. I now am suffering from accute depression under drs care, benn hospitalized twice and so much more. As of aug 2003 it will have been 1 year if I could file a cival suite against th9s company how soon would I have to file. thank you for your time.

I'm sorry about the demise of your marriage. Unofrtunately, you cannot successfully sue the company for your husband's affair. Such lawsuits are considered outdated and unrecognized. Your sole remedy is to sue your husband for divorce.
