Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York
I was laid off because I became very ill. I signed the severance package because I needed medical insurance and couldn't go without it at that time. Can I still sue?

It all depends if you signed all your rights away.
You need to take the severance agreement to an employment lawyer for review.
