physical and mental abuse in jail towards a sixteen year old

My son has been in monroe county jail and since he has been in there he has been put in the hospital two times, had staples in his head, stitches in his mouth, three loose teeth ,bruises on his arm and a severe blackeye and also has had urine thrown in his face by inmates.The two times he was brought to the hospital, I was never notified.Do i have a civil suit?

How was he injured? Who injured him? That is what the answer would be based on, and the suit would be on his behalf, with you acting as his natural guardian. But you have not provided sufficient information.
