Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York
i was wondering if another lawyer can run someone else's credit score with out them knowing about it? If so, does this effect their credit score? If not what would be the next step if this has already happened?

A lawyer can run a credit report if the person is a party in litigation. If you believe he ran your credit illegally, file a complaint with the credit bureau and file an ethics complaint. Also, you can sue the attorney for invasion of privacy and the equivalent federal statute.
