Legal Question in Consumer Law in New York

My hair was ruined at a salon, I went in as a Blonde and ended up leaving with green,red, brown.and gray hair. When all I wanted was my blonde hair into a slight darker shade of blonde. I ended up leaving with different colored hair in tears and running straight to another salon to see if they could fix it. I had color stains all over the back of my t-shirt from the !st salon. The 2nd salon could not believe what was done to my hair and the condtion it was left in. Needless to say Im now a redhead with severly damaged hair and burns all over my scalp. I have sought medical attention for that. I spoke with the !st salons manager and she did nothing at all or express any concern. Do i have a lawsuit?

Yes, you may have a claim against the salon and the hairdresser for negligence.

Depending on the size of your claim, you may want to handle it in small claims court.

To prove negligence, you will should be the hairdresser from the second salon to court as a witness. You should have already taken pictures of your hair and scalp burns.
