Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York
this companyput a hold on my account and i hav1e to pay my rent . idon not know who they are.

i assume you have a judgment against you, and the creditor put a lien on your assets (including your bank account). In that instance, there is nothing you can do unless you dispute the lien because the judgment is invalid or you come to some type of agreement with the creditor.
If you have direct deposit, stop it. Get a live check and hold the cash. Opening up another account will only result in that account being placed on hold.
