Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York
Identifying debtors bank from canceled check
I have own a judgment to collect a
past due sum. I am in the process of
locating the debtors bank account to
send a restraining order. I have a
canceled check from the debtor, with
the name CITIBANK NA and a series
of numbers printed on the back to
indicate the bank of deposit. How do
I interpret these numbers to identify
the branch and account number of
the debtor?
