Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

not to long ago my 89yr old grandmother had court papers shoved in her hand by a man who simply asked her did she know sidney morris her exact word was huh . after that she said he just shoved the court papers in her hand then tok off . she was stuned and confused . my grandmother most of the time incoherit and have cateracks in both eyes . when i got from looking for employment she said a man asked me a question and then put these papers in my hand , when i looked at the letter it had your name on it. now on the 23rd of this month i have to appear in court with no legal representation . ive never been in a situation like this before , can you please me on this matter
