Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
My 17 year old just got a speeding ticket.Do I need to get a lawyer for that?

it depends on what type of license your son has and the status of that license. If the have a junior lic. then yes get a lawyer. If they have points already, then yes. If you're worried about your insurance, yes. If your jurisdiction doesn't plea bargain, yes. Otherwise, you may not need one but you should get one.
