Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

Appeal pro se denial of motion

I am on felony probation.I filed a motion to have some conditions of probation removed. the D.A. answered then I responded. the judge denied the motion with no explaination. can I appeal?

In the D.A.'s brief, they brought up my prior violation. at my hearing on that violation, my lawyer made sure the record of the violation couldnt be brought up again. did i need to object to the D.A. talking about my prior violation in her affirmation?

Re: Appeal pro se denial of motion

Inasmuch as you were represented by counsel ,please contact your prior attorney for specific advise. However in general the da's actions seem proper prior convictions are inadmissible at trial only if they would greatly predjudice a jury without offering much value in determining the guilt or innocense of the defendant as applied to the specifics of the present situation.
