Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

My boyfriend was charged with aggravated harassment by his sister. She spent two hours texting and facebooking absolutely HORRIBLE things to us out of the blue. As well as contacted other people and told them ridiculous lies about affairs, drugs, and such. My boyfriend asked her 4 times to stop texting us and to leave us alone. Eventually he told her 'she was done for' and she went to the police and filed a complaint that she was scared for her life. He was arrests, and theres now a restraining order in place, which is fine, we dont want to speak to her as is. Shes disconnected his phone, as well as caused issues so he cant see his kids on the weekends. Shes still writing thing about us on Facebook and spreading lies, meanwhile we havent tried contacting her or said ANYTHING about the case. Through family we just discovered shes planning to spring a CPS case on us as soon as my baby is born. How can we fight this? Prior to this we hardly had any contact with her, let alone harassed her. I feel like we have substantial evidence that SHE is the one harassing us, but I'm not sure how to go about this. Do we file our own harassment charge? Or wait till this is finished?
