Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
I am currently going through a divorce I have two kids i am living in new york orignally from trinidad and i have a felony on my record i am under the impression i will lose my citzenship here if i get divorced and i can not get an expungment is this true is there anything i can do please get back to me. thank you

You can lose your citizenship if you submitted false information on your citizenship application. If the felony conviction occurred prior to your citizenship application and it was disclosed to the INS then you you are okay. If the felony conviction occurred after you were granted citizenship you are sill okay.
