Hearing Vs. Grand Jury

I am asking my Attorney for a hearing and he isn't really responding he keeps saying he wants a ACD and also needs to wait to see what the prosecutor presents. However I want to know what my rights are and if this is somthing I can per sue

The grand jury and hearings are two completely diffrent things, the grand jury is only aplicable in felony cases... If an ACD is what your attorney seeks then without question you're not currently charged with an indicted felony. The purpose of the grand jury is ONLY to decide whether to officially continue handling a case as a felony or not...

Once there is a true bill issued, meaning the grand jury does decide to indict... Then there are severe limitations to. What plea offers can be given to you.

An ACD is technically a full dismissal of the case! Wich is obviously good.

From what I'm reading it seems like you should be very careful, you're pushing for something which may actually hurt you... You have a lawyer for a reason, allow them to do their job. It sounds like he/she is.
