Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
hydrocodone
The other night I gave my friend some of my hydrocodone pills because he said his back hurt. There was no exchange of money, I just gave it to him since he said he was in pain. I am just nervous now if something serious happens. This is my first time doing this.

Re: hydrocodone
you had lawful possession of the pills yourself i would assume... if this is true, you also did not commit the act of 'sale' as no money was exchanged...
Hydrocodone is a controlled substance, and its dispensing is treated very seriously - i would not advise sharing such medication in the future... but you should not worry at all
