Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
imprisonment - ts
I just went and got a disposition of a court case from 2004 in which i plead guilty to and it said i had an order of protection that i would have to abide to. underneath the 1yr. order of protection on the disposition, it also said ''imprisonment - ts''. other than the time spent in central bookings as the wait to be processed before seeing a judge, I have never spent even a night in prison nor was i required to. Is it accurate for the disposition to say ''imprisonment-ts'' even though i have never been to prison?

Re: imprisonment - ts
all likelihood TS means 'time served' and you were sentenced to the little bit of time you did spend in jail, prior to arraignments, as your sentence to cover the punishment for this case.
