Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

my three neighbours women ganged up and said my husband was conducting lewd behaviour for a year.The police came and arrested my husband in front of me. I told the police that these women made it up. The police took my husband to the precint and kept him there for four hours. I had to get a lawyer and they released him.My husband has no bad record against him. He is 47 years old and works 80 hrs and we have been married for 13 yrs. My husband has to appear before the judge on july 19. I cant believe that these women got away with this behavior. While we ae suffering mentally and physically. Please help.
