Re: police seizures

Overall, the DA's office tends to hold onto vehicles till the ned of the prosecution. However, being that the vehicle is not owned by the defendant this may make a difference in the rapidity with which they handle the matter.

You will need a release signed by the district attorney handling the case, generally they are not particularly open to dealings with the general public, however as you are not a defendant this may be particularly helpful. I would suggest attempting on your own to speak to the district attorney handling this case. If you are not able to speak to them on yoru own then you will have to hire an attorney to assist you with this matter.

I would 100% suggest that you attempt to do this yoruself prior to paying for such a service, as you may be particulalry lucky and save yourself some money. If you are not able to complete this yoruself feel free to give us a call and we may assist you on this matter, the fees for such a case are usually very reasonable.

Generally, you must pay an impound fee and a fine for a vehicle that has been impounded . The faster you get it out, the less th fee will obviously be.

much luck. you may contact us at 212.709.8303 for further assistance
