Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

Rape Cases

My ex boyfriend was arrested for rape 9 months after this supposedly happened. There is no proof this actually happened and I know for a fact it didnt happen because I was there. What are the chances of him beating this charge. They wont call me to stand because they figure I will lie for him. If anyone knows a reasonable priced lawyer in WNY let me know!!

What do you mean by reasonably priced? You get what you pay for and your boyfriend is charged with a serious felony and faces years and years in jail if convicted. If you intend to hire a lawyer, don't be cheap about it. Find a good lawyer and try to work out a payment plan and get someone to guarantee the fee.
