Currently in a dui court and was told that the nassua county can take possesion of my car, even if I win my case. Is this true and how can I avoid losing my car? P.S., I am from South Jersey.

Yes, they can... And you will have to hire an attorney to get it back for you...
Nassau and Suffolk counties are historically tougher on these crimes, I would suggest you get in contact with an attorney ASAP and start working on both issues immediately.
