Legal Question in Education Law in New York
I recently had harassment charges/sanctions brought on me by my college. I am very sure they are false as the college will not even tell me what the incident was, or who made the claim. I could not defend myself as a result, and cannot appeal the sanctions. Is there any way to resolve this?

Is the college public or private?
You have greater protections if the college is public.
For state and city schools, in most cases, you have a constitutional rights to hear the specific charges against you and defend against those charges.
Do you have a student handbook? Review your rights in that document.
You may want to look into retaining a lawyer to protect your rights.
This should be done as soon as possible.
If you cannot afford to retain an attorney, you may be able to qualify for a local pro bono attorney
