Power of Attorney
My wife who lives in NY has ''Power of Attorney'' for her Mother who lives in PA. The POA was setup in PA. If her Mother moves to NY does the POA need to be redone in NY state..?

The PA power of attorney is the right one to use, but if mom is still competent you should a new one drawn up to reflect your wife's new New York address. The PA lawyer will then tell you if your wife's new address will cause problems. Your wife should start using the PoA asap to make sure the banks and other people respect your wife's authority. A lot of times they don't.
