My step-mother is putting my father in a nursing home against our wishes and my sister would like him to be able to live with her instead, what are our options?

Unfortunately, unless your stepmother agrees to this move, you will have to take her to court to become your father's guardian. The best thing to do is to schedule a consultation with an experienced elder care lawyer in the county where your father lives. You shouldn't wait to move on this matter.
