Legal Question in Entertainment Law in New York
I am currently in a film distribution deal with a California based company who has sub-licensed my film to a VOD company who posted it on youtube as an ad sale free view. This deal seems to underminded our entire distribution and we are not seeing any of the revenue from the ad sales portion. I believe they are in breech of contract but need help to understand our rights. We are independent filmmakers who don't have the means to fight a long drawn out law suite. Please help!
