Legal Question in Entertainment Law in New York

If i signed a contract that was a one year deal with a six year option, but sent a 30 day termination notice to cancel the options and the remainder of the contract because of them not fullfilling the terms or showing proof that they have full filled the terms. is the contract null and void? they also did not send a written response or show proof to dispute the termination agreement.
