Legal Question in Family Law in New York

19 year old son

my son has caused many problems in my life both legal and otherwise I was told I was responsible till he was 18. Now that he is 19 soon to be 20. I want to know if I can legally kick him out of the house I was told not till 21.

At the age of 18 your son becomes an adult, like any other adult. Therefore, you would have the right to sole possession of your residence.
