Legal Question in Family Law in New York

If I have a 17 year old son who has been sentenced as an adult and is in custody should i be obligated to pay his mother support in the state of NY?

Unless the child support order says otherwise, you have to comply with the order until you receive a modified order relieving you of your obligation. Simply hire an attorney to file the motion to modify the child support order or file it yourself.
