child custody

my sons father recently decided that he was not the father of my child based on allegations made by his new girlfriend. I want to take my son and move down south, how will this effect me if there is no custody ordered?

Since there is no custody order or visitation order, there is nothing preventing you. However, he decides to change his mind, he can petition the court to stop the move seeking visitation or even custody.
