What am I or my children entitled to after 15yrs devorsed
I have been devorded 14 yrs from a new york fireman
we were married for 12yrs. 4 children. We are both remarried. I did not receive any settlement from the fire dept. for the yrs we were married. am i still entitled to it or are my children?

You are asking whether you are entitled to Equitable Distribution from your ex's pension. The Equitable Distribution Law [DRL Section 236B] became effective July 19, 1980. Therefore, a good part of the pension was marital [you do not mention when the action was commenced].
The answer lies in the Judgment of Divorce and the Stipulation of Settlement.
If you had a lawyer, I would ask him first.
