Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Me and my daughters father are no longer today. He is not willing to take her two nights a week/weekend. If I took him to court would the judge order him to take his daughter two nights a week?

It is tricky to force a parent to spend time with children. The parent may mentally abuse the child if he is forced to pick them up.

In the alternative, if child support was decreased because of the two nights a week, you may be able to increase child support and strip him of his visitation. This way, you can adequately plan your life without waiting for him two nights a week.
