Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I am divorcing my husband. i had written a letter stating that i would help him pay for our house until he graduated college and signed it. i am now regretting that. will it hold up in court if there was not a lawyer there to witness the signature?

It all depends on the context and content of the letter. Before you do anything else, at the minimum, consult with a lawyer. As you can see, the money you save from not having a lawyer, is not worth the risk of agreeing to something you may regret.
