Legal Question in Family Law in New York

My fiance has custody of his two children and his ex wife has a child she claims is his. After paternity is complete and we know for sure how does support work? Would he have to pay the 17% of would it be less because of the fact that he has full custody of two and gets no support for them. Not to mention we live on a very limited income and can barely afford the two we currently have.

First, why does he is not receiving child support from the mother for the children for which he has full custody? Second, if she were to bring an action for child support, your fiance should bring a cross action for support for the two he has. Although it is not automatic, they should cancel each other out or she just might owe him child support.
